June 30 is here, the end of yet another month of 2014. Most of us are in disbelief! The days and weeks are zoooooooooming.
Time to squeeeeeek in my UFO for this month.
Just to record, in case some are reading this blog for the first time. In January 2014 the decision was made to join the Country Threads UFO Game/Challenge. Here is a bit of review:
“Participants make a numbered list of twelve UFO’s. This is all on the ‘honor system’ and you monitor yourself. At the beginning of each month the number is posted on the blog. You match the number with the number on your UFO list. You finish that project, photograph it and send photo to Country Threads before the end of the month. The quilts/and/or projects are posted on Pinterest. Every three months Country Threads will draw a name for a $50 gift certificate. At the end of the year they draw a name for a $100 gift certificate.”

Here is my June UFO. These apron blocks were made in a class two years ago. Really! Two years it took me to finish these cuties! Really! I loved them from the very beginning and I even knew what I wanted to do with them!
The pattern design and class “Join Me For Tea” are by Sally Brown. You too can make these aprons!
Sally teaches at Cabbage Rose in Fort Worth, Texas. You too can take this class!
It is time to dress my kitchen for summer. The aprons’ runner will join two other runners to begin the bright fun kitchen decor. Here is the retro, vintage table in the center of the kitchen. More pictures will be forth coming when all the alterations are done for July and summer time.
That is too cute on your yellow table! Another one done, good for you.
Thanks. I do love the table and enjoy having it out for summer time! Keeping up with this UFO “Game” is more of a challenge than I ever would have thunk! 🙂
